Andrew Roberts founded Math Made Visible in 2008 to make math education accessible and engaging for all ages and skill levels. He has a deep passion for education and helping students learn and thrive. Andrew’s distinguished career includes eight years of classroom teaching and six years serving in the Mathematics Department of Holt, Rinehart, and Winston, including as Executive Editor. Andrew’s vision is to use his expertise and creativity to design and develop innovative and interactive resources that can help students discover the beauty and power of education.
Math Made Visible (MMV) has evolved to include the development of materials in four core learning areas: Math, Science, Reading Language Arts, and Social Studies, in English and in Spanish. Over the years, MMV has created hundreds of print and digital K–12 products for major publishers including Houghton Mifflin Harcourt (HMH), Pearson, McGraw Hill, Macmillan, College Board, and more.
In 2015, Andrew founded Sirius Education Solutions (SES) after observing first-hand how students struggled to take standardized tests in the state of Texas. Andrew noted how students’ self-worth and confidence changed with their success on high-stakes tests and was inspired to create superior resources that support teachers in helping students succeed on STAAR tests. Sirius focuses exclusively on selling and supporting supplemental TEKS-based instructional materials, including all 20 STAAR-tested courses in grade 3 through End-of-Course (EOC). SES sells the print, digital, and blended learning resources that Math Made Visible develops.
